Colton & Daddy took the afternoon to themselves to hit the slopes. Colton has been taking ski lessons since Christmas and quickly got into the groove. Colton played T-ball this spring. He did such a good job and made great progress throwing, catching and batting. Here he's waiting for instructions from the coach.

Colton helped bake his own cake for his birthday.

He got very excited about his presents!

But no more excited than his BIG present.

Then he DOVE into his cake.

And donned his new helmet and mittens and took his new bike for a spin.

We gave the kids' grandparents a webcam for Christmas. Now they can talk to, and see, their grandparents any time. Very exciting for everyone.

They love showing off their toys with it.

Another Christmas

When we all gathered for our last Christmas celebration, Jesse's mother and siblings brought lots of fun.

Jill made Colton a book about his truck yard that has his picture pasted into it. He love reading it on his own.

Afterwards, we all sat around and enjoyed our gifts. Her Max and Jesse played with his "new" Atari system.

We loved having Jill and Lei and the rest of our family join us for one last fling of Christmas.

Growing up

Colton has been looking and acting more and more like an adult. As he gets closer to his 4th birthday, he is asking questions that are tougher to answer and display how bright he is.

But, he and Jack are still little boys, tearing up and down the hall naked before bath time.

Christmas

We drove down to Pennsylvania for Christmas to be with Evonne's family

and all the cousins.

Two of Colton's favorite presents were his watch

and his drum kit.

They were both very happy with all their presents.

Loving Brothers

Colton & Jack are getting along well these days, despite the usual sharing problems.

More and more we'll notice it is quiet and find them playing together in the playroom or reading in the living room.

Although Colton was happy to jump (or be thrown) into the leaves, Jack was a bit more cautious.
