First Bath

Jack took his first bath today. He didn't seem to mind too much.



Colton helped washing too.



We dressed him up in a onsie from is Aunt Jessie. He may love NY, but he'll still be a BoSox fan.

Settling in

Jack's been getting into a regular routine now.



He actually lets us sleep for several hours at a time on a regular basis.

Lots of help

Evonne's Mom spent a week with us to help Jack and Mommy settle in.



She loved getting to spend time the whole family.



Trish watched Jack so Evonne could sleep more than a few hours a day...



and then took pictures of her when she finally had a chance.

Eating, Sleeping and ...

Jack's been eating lots and gained 1lb, 5oz in the week between his last two doctors visits.



We threw a 'Welcome Jack' party for friends and family to come see Jack.

Jack has officially been named! We combined the name of a close friend and Evonne's maiden name to 'officially' name Jack.

Brothers

Colton's been wonderful to Jack so far. He's very loving and helpful.







Here, Cole's swearing him in as an official member of the McCain family. Actually, he was reading to him.

Coming Home

We were all happy to get home last week, a little tired but ready to settle into a new routine.

Jack's Here!

Jack was born a few days early on January 31st at 7:45pm. He weighed in at 7lbs, 7oz and was 19 inches long.




Mom's doing great too.




We're all happy to finally meet Jack, especially Colton.




He thought the baby's 'tiny' nose was cute...



as was his 'big' nose. He's been wonderful with Jack and enjoyed holding him.




Daddy has enjoyed spending time with Jack.




Gramma Terry stopped in to say hi to the new arrival.
